  1. Hey there! Congrats to those who got in and have successfully started the program! I am wondering if you are able to shed light on the application process at all? I imagine the program being very competitive-- so I am trying to gauge where I stand as an applicant. Are you able to maybe share your stats (GPA, years/type of experience as RN, etc.) Thanks in advance!
  2. do you mind if I ask who your contact is for the peds waiting list?
  3. Hi ? has anyone interviewed for the "nursing resource team"? If so, are you able to speak a bit on how it went? Thanks!!
  4. @JDPsychNP Thanks for your response! Did you end up doing the program? If so, how are you liking it? Are there people within your cohort that have less than a year of experience? Just trying to get a general idea of what my candidacy would be like in relevance to others.
  5. Hi all! I am interested in applying to UMSL BSN-DNP program. I was looking for information regarding the required years of experience as an RN-- but it is not explicitly mentioned under the admissions criteria. I was wondering if you guys perhaps knew? Thank you in advance!
  6. WOW! that's super disappointing ? I was really hoping for NYU what other hospitals did you guys apply to, if you don't mind me asking?
  7. Hi! The initial phone screen is just to confirm that you've graduated/ have your BSN/taken the NCLEX, and about your interests as far as unit placement. I was also asked my GPA. I was then told I would be contacted by the corresponding nurse manager.
  8. Hey! I was wondering if there has been any updates since then? I'm seeing that hospitals are starting to do elective surgeries again/etc. so I imagine the pt census is improving. I'd appreciate if you can give any insight whatsoever! Thank you ?
  9. Hey! has anyone that was placed on the offer waitlist, hired?-- or has received any correspondence at all?
  10. @taskat hey ? wondering if you've heard of any updates from your friend about the freeze?
  11. Hi, CONGRATS!! Do you mind if I ask what type of unit you interviewed for and when you were told when to check back in?
  12. Because it is the nurse manager that interviews you, it is entirely dependent on the specific unit and their own personal style. I would recommend looking up common interview questions for some ideas! Also have a good answer prepared for why you are specifically interested in that unit. Best of luck!
  13. Thanks for taking the time to respond! Do you mind me asking if they mentioned a timeline at all? Or if it was said that they would notify staff once the freeze was lifted? Thanks in advance! (also-- wishing you health +safety!)
  14. Hi! Wondering if anyone has heard anything as of late? Whether in regards to the Fall 2019 NGR or the Spring 2020 one
