  1. I believed if you start Fall 2019 expected graduation is Spring 2021. That’s what I was told by admission, but all depends on how long it takes you to complete your 728 hours of clinicals. There is also additional clases with additional clinicals hours if you decide to do a concentration.
  2. Hello, Duke University has a mostly online program for the FNP. They will arrange your clinical sites near you and there is no campus requirements during the first year. I believed there is a requirement of 3-4 times during the second year. I hope this helps Good Luck,
  3. This is a great topic. I’ll be starting FNP school after one year of being an RN, and l’ll continue to work full time while going to school. By the time I graduate with my FNP I’ll have 4 years of RN experience. For someone reason I don’t feel the support at work since most RNs there have 10+ experience and they are quick to have an opinion on my career choices. They have no desire on going back to school. I’m beginning to doubt about starting school. Any thoughts ?
  4. I went to school to the University of Minnesota and many of my classmates got jobs before graduation. Which hospitals are you applying ?
  5. Hello Kim, Duke University is a great school and have a long distant NP program. I’ll start this Fall while working over 40 hours a week.
  6. Hello, I’m sorry about your experience with UPenn, but that’s not my case. I applied and I got a very quick response from them. Good luck and I hope everything works out.
  7. I’m sorry I meant 84 hours every two weeks that’s my set schedule as a military nurse.
  8. Unfortunately that’s my set schedule as a military nurse. I was wondering if you could give share some information regarding the amount of workload for the core courses ?
  9. I’m sorry I meant every two weeks.
  10. Hello, I just got accepted to the FNP program at Duke and I’ll be working 84 hours /week while going to Duke part time. Are you going part time or full time ?
  11. Is anyone else applied for the FNP-BSN? I’ll like to get in touch with anyone who also got accepted to the same program.
  12. I’ll try to attend, but I don’t think I can make it. I hope is not mandatory.
  13. I applied for the BSN-FNP and I didn’t got a notification, but I went to my portal and it saw the decisions letter.
