Thank you everyone for the great advice!

New Grad Application Rejection
I actually did have my resume professionally written but that still doesn't necessarily guarantee that it's a great nursing resume I suppose.

New Grad Application Rejection
Thank you so much! I will check this out. I see they do have lots of job openings. The commute would be about 1 hour for me one way, it doesn't seem so bad for a good job.

New Grad Application Rejection
I have applied mostly to hospital jobs. It is true that they "prefer" BSN and experience, although it is not "required". I have thought about applying to a nursing home, however, this is hard for me to do as I would make significantly less money than I make now as a bartender. And not to mention that I have been told by a few people that long-term care experience won't necessarily help you get a hospital job. There are many hospital listings around me, some have been up for weeks or months, which means the positions haven't been filled, however I keep getting rejected.

I am looking in the Twin-Cities - Minnesota area, if that matters at all.

New Grad Application Rejection
Hi guys, I am looking for a little insight here. I am a new grad nurse with an AD, currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Program. I recently passed my boards and I am in the market for a job. I don't have any nursing experience whatsoever, besides my clinicals. I have been a bartender for years. I have applied to several different jobs recently and within hours or a day my application status says "Reviewed; Not Selected". I am a little frustrated as they don't give me a reason for this, therefore I don't know if my application was denied because my resume/cover letter or for any other reason. I have applied to jobs that I am qualified for according to their job listing. So my question is, is this normal to get rejected like that within hours? Do new nurses typically have to apply to many many positions before they get an interview? I guess I am just a little confused and surprised because for all these years I kept hearing that nurses are in such a high demand, I won't have a problem getting a job, yet it seems like the opposite. Thank you for your input!

Nursing paper help
Like I said above, I already got a couple people willing to help but thanks for the input. If you didn't wanna take time out of your day to help, I completely understand but you simply could have just not responded. Nobody is writing my paper for me, these questions are a tiny fraction of my paper, and the clinical nurse asked me to send her the questions instead of doing a face to face interview. Maybe you should keep your judgements to yourself, and again, you didn't have to answer. Have a great day!

Nursing paper help
This isn't meant as a "I need the full name of the person" it's just a general question as in RN that works in a hospital or long term care unit. I actually got a couple people willing to help me so thanks for the advice, but if you didn't wanna help you simply could have just not responded. Obviously I considered all of my other options before I posted here, this was a last resort. Nobody in the class actually went and sat down and interviewed someone, it was all email communication. Have a great day. Thank you to the people that offered their help.

Nursing paper help
As I stated below, I did try my clinical rotation, one of the nurses there agreed to do it, asked me to email her the questions and never got back to my. My clinical is over and I'm kinda stuck. Thank you for the suggestion though.

Nursing paper help
This can be anonymous. And yes I've tried my clinical rotation, one of the RNs there agreed to do it and she asked me to email her the questions so I did a while ago, and my clinical is over and haven't heard back from her. I can't just go back there and I've tried asking my clinic but they're on the job and don't have time to sit there and answer me. Here are the questions if anyone is willing to help out: Who did you interview? What is their role? What is the setting of their work as a nurse? ï‚· What rules and regulations influence their nursing practice? ï‚· What leadership skills does the nurse possess? Identify leadership skills you feel would be helpful to this nurse based on evidence based practice. ï‚· How does the nurse impact quality patient outcomes? ï‚· How is safety and quality promoted in their facility by the nurses? Does this achieve safe and quality care outcomes for clients experiencing chronic illness? Based on your research with evidence based practice how could it be improved? What resources could be utilized? ï‚· How do you handle the unpredictability of your work day? What strategies do you utilize? ï‚· Does the nurse have the opportunity to advocate for social justice for vulnerable clients in their facility. ï‚· How does this nurse promote their own personal health and self-renewal. Identify evidence why self-renewal is important. ï‚· Reflect on the interview. Review what you learned from this interview. What can you implement in your future nursing career? It is ok in this area to use "I" statements.

Nursing paper help
Hey guys! I am a nursing student, I have one more semester left before I graduate, yay! I have this assignment (paper ugh) coming up for school which is mainly based on an interview with an RN. The person that I originally sent these interview questions to fell through, and now I am running short on time to write my paper and still don't have these interview questions. I was wondering if any of you RN's out there are willing to answer a few questions relating to what you do as a nurse. I could email them to you, and give you a few days or even a week to answer them. I don't know what else to do considering I don't personally know any nurses so I decided to give this a try. It would help me immensely! Thank you in advance.
