  1. Good Afternoon, I'm starting at UNC Chapel Hill this upcoming Fall semester. I spoke with the nursing admissions and they said I didn't have to have a CNA license to apply (classes taken later in the upper division program will allow me to test for the license at a later time) However, I was wondering if I should just go ahead and take the class and get a job so that I can help my application stand out to get into the nursing program. What should I do? I also would be taking a state approved program most likely in Charlotte, NC! Thank you!
  2. Hello, My name is Carolina. I am currently expected to begin my freshman year at the Air Force Academy this upcoming summer. I love the Air Force, and my ultimate goal is to work for the Air Force as a nurse. I am wondering which path I should take to become a nurse. I was at a ROTC student at college last year, and was about a year away from applying to upper division nursing programs. I have 4 classes and a CNA license standing in the way of applying for a upper division program. So whats your advice? Stick it out at USAFA and apply to the graduate health professional scholarship to attend nursing school after 4 years, go to UNC through ROTC, or just go to UNC but not through ROTC (commissioning through OTS) I appreciate your feedback/advice!
  3. I am a pre-nursing student at UNC-Greensboro. I did not get a CNA license in high school, so I still need to get certified. I am trying to decide if I should wait until summer to take a CNA class at a community college near my home or if I should just take a one day CNA class. I am currently looking at CNA2day, but if I could have input from anyone who has done either option I would really appreciate it! Thank you!
