Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.

Yes I am! If I don't hear from NYU soon I think I am going to put my deposit down!! NYU is higher on my list but Ill take anywhere I can get for less money:)

I hear you. Did your estimate of tuition changed or is still the same. The first time they sent my financial aid was around 60K and when they sent again after COVID-19 it went down to 42k
College of Mount Saint Vincent. I got into Pace too but the price is pretty high with no Scholarships. Mount Saint Vincent doesn’t offer scholarships either but is way cheaper than Pace. I keep hearing that NYU are generous with financial aid depending on your need so let’s see. But they are taking too long.
WOW! I also got into CMSV and Pace . But will more than likely go to Mount Sinai PSON depending on how long NYU takes to get back to me. I have until Monday to confirm with PSON. Fingers cross for this Friday
