  1. PSON Mount Sinai
  2. I gave up my seat today ( hard decision) , so hopefully someone on the waitlist hear back soon. CONGRATS to everyone again. I have a friend who is in the same boat.
  3. DO NOT call the nursing program directly! I know someone who use to work there and quit because the staff was so rude . I called once last yr and my blood was boiling after a not so pleasant call with a Mary or Marie( older women). However the admissions ppl at the general office of NYU are all present . The actual nursing school office will not give you a update. I was currently a student a NYU at the time and had my professor call her personally after to get the answers I needed.
  4. Just called the school to follow up on my application (last updated in Jan). They have until the end of June To send out decisions. Thats mind blowing to me that it’ll take that long.Good to luck to everyone still waiting .
  5. MSV will accept you with a pending pre req. I was accepted the first week of April and still taking my orgo right now
  6. I’m also debating . I haven’t really heard about any Cons for Pace.
  7. Last year I was rejected around this time. So doubt they wait until June ( the end)
  8. WOW! I also got into CMSV and Pace . But will more than likely go to Mount Sinai PSON depending on how long NYU takes to get back to me. I have until Monday to confirm with PSON. Fingers cross for this Friday
  9. Fall . I submitted my application around the 2nd week of January.
  10. I was accepted today which was shocking . I grew up/ live in East Harlem and would love to serve my community. But with what I heard in the news , comments on the forum and feedback from my friend who is a NP there ... I’m not sure what to do. The new building is walking distance away from me so that work perfectly. I was also accepted to Pace and CMSV and waiting to hear from NYU. Anyone else trying to decide between Pace and PSON?
  11. I didn’t make it in the program last year. So you just ask them to roll your application materials over to the next round to reapply.
  12. I applied to PA school as well and know the painful process . My experience did not change so much but my grades did so my cumulative increased a bit. I retook a prerequisite for another school that had a 5 yr cut off and got a better grade. So I'm sure that also help. Don't give up if this is what you really want to do.
  13. I don’t believe its comes down to grades . I was waitlisted last year and had (still have) alot of years of experience from volunteering to working in a hospital for the past 5 yrs. But this year I interviewed earlier and submitted my application all the way in late September. I believe its a combination of things and applying early really does help.
  14. I was accepted this evening!
  15. Have anyone who interviewed this past Tuesday 2/18 heard back yet?
