Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.
Feel free to comment whatever is on your mind. What are your stats? Where are you from and what other schools will you be applying at? Help a sistah out!
CONGRATS! WOW! they really do send out fridays between 3-5 pm LOL! So strange they have a designated time day/time for acceptances. At least they are organized ?
For those who got accepted, did your portal change or are there any signs of your acceptance before actually getting an email? Or did it stay the same?

Thank you! I didn't receive and email, I signed onto the portal and everything disappeared. All I saw was the application information so I signed onto Albert and it told me to accept/decline their offer.

that same thing happened to me today and so I called because I was so confused why I didn't get an email and there was no link on my portal. The lady at admissions told me they have experienced technical difficulties and that she is very sorry but it doesn't necessarily mean I got in but that it means I should be hearing very soon, either today or in the next few weeks. You may want to call and make sure this isn't the case for you as well.
So I never got an email but when I log in to Albert and choose "View Application Status" it gives me a link to the "Admitted Student's Portal"! This may be a dumb question but does this mean I am accepted? I'm scared to get excited and then it not be the case LOL! Has anyone else had this same thing happen??

That is what I saw, if you press admitted students portal it tells you CONGRATS and gives you the link to put down the deposit!

It doesn't, I just wanted to see if that meant I got accepted and the accept/decline offer was there
