Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?

Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.
Feel free to comment whatever is on your mind. What are your stats? Where are you from and what other schools will you be applying at? Help a sistah out!

on my checklist, the only thing missing with a red X is the tab that says "Prerequisites"
it should say "received" for letter of recs. I did not re-upload my resume. I was also missing the pre-reqs section. It had a red X but thats bc my chem class is pending for this Summer. After confirming my info were correct, the red X went away.
for those people whose checklist disappeared, how long did it take for it to go away?

I think all we have to do for that one is to confirm if our pre-reqs info are correct.

update: after confirming my pre-reqs, the red X went away
same mine went away too. I still dont see where the letters options are. it isn't on my check list?
Hi all!
I just found this thread and I got accepted on Friday to NYU!! I didn't think I would get in so I'm super excited but also frightened by the tuition amount. My other top school is Rochester which I probably won't hear back from until May. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on either of the accelerated programs? NYU would definitely be my top but the tuition is a little cheaper at Rochester and its a shorter program
Hello everyone!
I applied to NYU about 2 weeks ago for Fall 2020. I wasn't able to submit before the priority date due to personal reasons. Will this affect my chances of getting in? If it does affect my chances, should I change it to Spring 2021? Btw, I have a GPA of 3.24 and over 2000 hours of clinical experience. Thank you!

From what it seems like in past threads, it doesn't really make a difference if you apply priority or not as long as you're a strong candidate! Good luck!
