Did anybody hear about new program NY city started to sponsor low income family to go to nursing schools, and after place them in the facility with shortage of nurses???????????????????Thanks

I ACTUALLY WATCHED THE MAYOR PRESS RELEASE ABOUT IT. IT IS TRUE AND I'M ACTUALLY TRYING TO GET IN THE PROGRAM MYSELF. ANY ADVICE?

Please let me know if the number was of any help. My friend mentioned it and gave me that number but she didn't follow through so I really don't know how it works.

my friend called and was told its for lpn programs only.

I called the number as well, the lady said that she isn't sure whether they sponsor RNs program, but she'll have someone get back to me. I will post the answer.
