Hello , Everyone I'm a third semester student at Northern Virginia Community College and I know this is a bit early to be inquiring about nursing school but I just would like to get a head start on getting to know everyone interested in applying! I'm excited for the upcoming semester! i have some ice breakers to get this conversation started as well. Has anyone taken the TEAS test yet and if so how was your experience? and also do you have any remaining classes to take before applying.

Lord Fairfax actually has two different campuses/nursing programs: one in Fauquier (Warrenton) and the other in Middletown.

Is that outside of the DMV area? Won't you have a better chance if you reside in that area?

Yeah so i saw that option on the nursing application so i called and asked. They are opening the applications up in July and the cycle would go spring fall spring fall!

How can it be an option if they are opening up the application in July? Is there a way that we can apply to both? So does that mean they are still accepting around 115 people? Does anyone know how many applicants they roughly get? (not counting last year cause I feel like it is an outlier)

Hello everyone I’m extremely confused ! I called the nursing school and they told me that they required a 68 on each section , when online is says 68 composite meaning all the scores averaged together , can someone clearify this for me ? I think I got the wrong information

ShayBee, are you talking about the TEAS?

ShayBee, I think these two places having different information. So basically the RN admission office should be the one we need to trust. The information from Test center is just for reference. What are you worrying about? For me definitely without retaking TEASE, I will not get in this year.
