Hello , Everyone I'm a third semester student at Northern Virginia Community College and I know this is a bit early to be inquiring about nursing school but I just would like to get a head start on getting to know everyone interested in applying! I'm excited for the upcoming semester! i have some ice breakers to get this conversation started as well. Has anyone taken the TEAS test yet and if so how was your experience? and also do you have any remaining classes to take before applying.

Question. I just graduated high school and want to apply to the program. I know I have one semester this fall of pre-reqs, but then do I start the nursing program in the spring of 2020 or do I wait til the fall of 2020. When do I actually apply because the flyer says I have to have grades posted? It’s confusing to me. Thx

im assuming you’re starting school in the 2019 fall semester. so you would do pre-reqs in fall 2019, apply in spring 2020 and would start the nursing program in fall 2020

Thx. I need to talk to a counselor at nova. I assume I take the TEAS tests in the spring also?

that sounds like a good idea and yes! you would take it before the nursing application is due
