Hello , Everyone I'm a third semester student at Northern Virginia Community College and I know this is a bit early to be inquiring about nursing school but I just would like to get a head start on getting to know everyone interested in applying! I'm excited for the upcoming semester! i have some ice breakers to get this conversation started as well. Has anyone taken the TEAS test yet and if so how was your experience? and also do you have any remaining classes to take before applying.

This spring there are 110 seats for the 2018 cohort. I would assume around that. Maybe more since they had a hard time filling the cohort last year due to raised TEAS requirements

Hi! everyone, nice to have this place for us to share information. I just got my TEAS, which is not good. Total Score: 69.3%, reading score 59.6%, which is required 78%. I hope I have chance to take it one more time if NOVA will postpone the deadline like last year. Any suggestion? Thank you so much!

What’s your gpa , they might overlook it

I have all others A. but BIO 141 is B. I need to calculate what is my GPA. Sorry English is my second language! Thank you for your reply!

No problem You have to wait 30 days with retakes so I would just apply .

I just applied. My GPA is 3.6, which is there already. Now is waiting and meanwhile to see if I have chance to retake my TEAS.

I think you should get one on one tutoring and make sure you get help to pass

Hi! Kennikokoomojesu, thank you! My problem is slow. If I have plenty of time, I can do very well. I don't think I have time to do one on one. I will practice more to increase my speed. Thank you so much!

Hi everyone! I've been lurking the past couple years at these forums and now it's finally time for me to apply! My GPA is 4.0 and I scored an 88 on my TEAS.

I also applied to LFCC as a backup. Did anyone else apply there as well?
