Nope! I had one flip to Evaluation in Progress. I did hear from previous years that only one app is evaluated at a time.

Last year they didn’t contact until end of April, interview until early May and offers went out end of May. Granted that was during the COVID hiring freeze so maybe a little earlier.

I am, though I know that there is a lot of domino effect of previous cohorts being bumped later from last Summer. Also, does anyone know much about the DC license? It isn't in the compact, and I called and we can't apply until we have our license in the state where we graduated. Luckily the start dates are late (Sept) so that should give us time to test, get our other license, then apply for DC. But would love further insight if anyone else knows.

I applied for everything except Neuro. I did a clinical rotation on the Surgical Care Unit and loved it! Normally they hire the students from their Summer Externship that stay on as techs but since that was cancelled it’s fair game for the rest of us. I wish they weren’t so late in the game. I also applied for all the Peds spots at Inova.

I was wondering how long after you put in your application the recruiter contacted you? I am a May grad and they have a generic new grad fellow posting and then specific ones. I put in a few apps but haven't heard anything, but it's pretty early for May grad jobs.

Do you guys have a facebook page or anything? Some of the recently graduated class would like to donate their uniforms to you guys.

The best bet is to look at the BSN program you might do and see what they require. GMU and ODU are the most popular. Biomedical ethics is required, a statistics class, plus the Mason Core if you don’t have a bachelors already.

These are the ones I liked, I got them at the uniform store at Potomac Mills with their student discount. It’s a great way to try on a couple of styles. This brand shoe Nursemates is great, though everyone I know likes a different style. They need to be like 99% white and wipe clean, and they have said no clogs. The cohort behind me they had them switch to scrub jackets but not sure about y’all. Definitely go to the Etsy link in the description for name tags, the bookstore is horrible for that and these are so inexpensive and fast. the prettier LED penlights available are way too bright for what we need. The cheap ones listed here are the way to go.

I would probably not for now, but if it turns out ATI has a digital only package that’s new then grab them. The other textbooks you could use secondhand if she has any of those.
