Hello , Everyone I'm a third semester student at Northern Virginia Community College and I know this is a bit early to be inquiring about nursing school but I just would like to get a head start on getting to know everyone interested in applying! I'm excited for the upcoming semester! i have some ice breakers to get this conversation started as well. Has anyone taken the TEAS test yet and if so how was your experience? and also do you have any remaining classes to take before applying.

And has anyone been able to confirm the TEAS requirement being 68 average of all sections, or minimum of that in all?
Don’t think so. I also called and asked to see how many they are taking for the fall. They won’t have a number until the second week of April.

it says that "Total Score of 68% with a minimum Reading Score of 76%." Here is the link: https://www.nvcc.edu/catalog/cat2018/academics/programs/programdetail.aspx?prog_id=3520&subprog_id=0&level=1

Yes, I'm pretty sure it will, as long as it maps to BIO142 and taken within the last 10 years. You can do a transfer evaluation request and ask specifically about that class -- I've found with the transfer classes that they will look at the requests quicker if you're just asking about 1 class.

Yeah, it already transferred but I guess I was referring to how some colleges require you to take it with them in order for it to count.
