Hello , Everyone I'm a third semester student at Northern Virginia Community College and I know this is a bit early to be inquiring about nursing school but I just would like to get a head start on getting to know everyone interested in applying! I'm excited for the upcoming semester! i have some ice breakers to get this conversation started as well. Has anyone taken the TEAS test yet and if so how was your experience? and also do you have any remaining classes to take before applying.

I saw that someone commented on MEC Facebook and asked if they would be sending acceptance/ rejection emails tomorrow, so far no response from them. Hopefully they will post an update.

Mec Facebook last updated April 16 in reference to radiology I think. They dont update their page frequently.

I think that person deleted their comment. I don’t see it anymore, so I don’t think we will get a response.

Do they send out rejection letters as well or just acceptions ?

I'm also checking mine constantly even though I get notifications when I get emails.? Just a nervous habit. They said they would be sending out decisions the first week of May at the earliest. So might not be this week. This year is actually much earlier than previous years looking back at past year threads. Hope to see everyone in the fall!

I'm glad they decided to do spring again, as that gives more opportunities to apply each year.

Both. Acceptance letters go out first and then they inform the others afterwards

It’s May 1st y’all! Decision letters coming soon. Hopefully sooner rather than later ?

They do say up to 8 weeks which is 5/15. But I think it’ll come next week instead.
