NVCC / NOVA Traditional Nursing Fall 2019 - MEC

Hello , Everyone I'm a third semester student at Northern Virginia Community College and I know this is a bit early to be inquiring about nursing school but I just would like to get a head start on getting to know everyone interested in applying! I'm excited for the upcoming semester! i have some ice breakers to get this conversation started as well. Has anyone taken the TEAS test yet and if so how was your experience? and also do you have any remaining classes to take before applying.

I’m not doing anything else extra until I get my acceptance lol..I think it’s American heart association for CPR you can do the class online then just go in to show your skills

Exactly, absolutely nothing else until I get that happy note from MEC. I wish they would say something on FB

I hope we all get accepted, I like you guys ? lol..but they definitely need to be more active on FB and that blog..especially during application period

I tried calling twice to see if I could get information on how many eligible applications went through to the second round but there was no answer.

I was checking the logs of the previous cohort it was not until May 10 they found out if they were acceppted or not

darn, still nothing. I was really hoping to not have to wait over the weekend. There is still a couple hours left in the day...fingers crossed!

I keep getting emails from NOVA today. Every time I see “Northern Virginia Community College” as the sender I get excited...only to realize it’s an e-mail encouraging me to complete a course eval or register for summer classes ? ? ?

??Same, my heart sinks every time I get a Nova email. But I think it’s safe to say nothing for today!
