NVCC 2nd year RN Clinicals Class of 2009

Is anyone out there?

I really need to switch Clinicals with someone. I have the Wednesday 7AM-8PM at VHC and really need a Monday or Friday clinical. I just re-entered into the Nursing program after a year of being in hiatus. :zzzzz Is anyone willing to switch with me, please? :sniff:

Thanks for listening.

Will see if I passed the last drug dosage exam today, lol I thought it went well, but ya never know, a few stupid mistakes really ruins your day. 1 of the worst things about the program is how long it takes to get the results back! No clue how fats other schools handle this, but for normal exams, normally takes a week. Sometimes these drug dosage ones, they can be a bit faster.

I thought the drug dosage this time was tough! A bit nervous . . . never had to take the make up exam yet, don't want to now!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you guys! I am sure you did fine.

How long do you have to wait till you get your scores? I had been spoiled until NAS 162, we had to wait like 2 weeks once for our test scores! It was brutal but it taught me to at least try and be patient.

The normal exams take a week. Our lecture is on Thursday, so by next Thursday by noon they are usually posted. Sometimes for the semester drug dosage exam, a bit sooner! Last semester we wrote on a Thursday, and marks were posted on the afternoon of the following Monday! If its a Final exam, profs stay late and u get the mark that day or next! As well for the mid term they are faster, as the drop out date is usually around that time, so they want the marks posted, so you can make the decision to drop out without penalty (grade wise, you don't get ur $$ back, lol) Any of the hands on lab exams, you know if you passed/failed on the spot

I am a first year second semester student and have my "real" drug dosage test next Thursday. I am nervous.

I hope you, second year awesome people, continue giving us ( following in your steps) some advice even after you graduate :bowingpur

Just read the questions and see exactly what they want!! Don't make it more difficult than it already is!! If you have completed the practice quizzes over and over and used the henke med dosage book and various other websites,I'm sure it will go well! Ensure all the units are the same, ya need a preceding zero (0.25) NO trailing zeros (0.25000) and yes people get them wrong if they forget/add the zeroes! And check and check and check over the question if u have time! Read the WHOLE question.

I really hope I did all right on the dosage calcs too. It seemed like the questions were a little tougher than the last one, even though they keep saying the math didn't change from semester 3 to semester 4.

Didn't they have them up by Tuesday or so last semester? Bah, I'll be at clinical all day.

They had the dosage grades up Monday afternoon last semester

Well I sure hope they have them up today. I am more nervous than I have ever been about this one . . . one of the questions really had me stumped. LOL, someone usually e-mails me & lets me know that the grades are up ;).

1 of my sources said they may be up today! That person had their marks entered on Friday! But you know the story, they need to go over the exam, take statistics, blah blah blah! Lab today, yippee

If they are up today, will prob be after lunch, as they have meetings in morning

HE HAWWW, no more big drug dosage exams for this camper!!( At least in this program, lol) Appeared to be a fair # of people that were not successful though. I'm sure they will excel on the rewrite.
