I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
Hi Neneng, I also called NVC and the same message since April 24. I've been case complete for the last 3 months and haven't attempted to talk to costumer representative from the NVC since I don't think they will have something to tell if the visas are unavailable. Though I think its a good sign that our messages hasn't change. Hoping on October we'll have the same place as June's VB and will not have to repeat the same thing again.
To all whose case was completed at the NVC:Have you tried calling the NVC AVR lately? My case was completed last May 30. The NVC says to wait for 8 wks for further instruction. It was my 8th week yesterday. And still my status has not changed. According to the AVR message at the last part.... if it has been eight weeks since you received this message press "0". I did not continue on pressing the number "0" because..... if I will be talking to a call agent it might cause a delay on my case( that's accdg to my lawyer).
Anyone whose case was completed ahead of mine; have you tried on pressing the number "0". What's the status of your case now?
Re: NVC -CP- GC Tracker
Hi nurseako....this is so frustrating for us...our PD dates are so near...2006!!! .now we have to stand in line ,AGAIN.....time to search for other options other than the US....breach of contract for our part is $12,000; yet, if they breach the contract, we get nothing? ???
Hi dewko, do you know what letter they are referring to? Is it the appointment letter or another letter requesting to send again updated DS 230 and docs? I have a PD of Nov 2005 and case completion of May 14 though I have not emailed NVC.
Hi agp_ph..sorry for the late reply, been busy..My apologies to everyone.hehehe.. I should have first asked my friend abt the letter before posting it, the letter came from her agency, she insists that NVC forwarded it to her agency(but I dont think so????)But hopefully its true bec somehow it lifted our hopes:yeahthat:..anyways let's pray for the best..God bless..
HR 5924 was reported favorably out of the Immigration Subcommittee. The vote was 7-2. This is a welcome development and keeps a candle of hope that HR 5924 can still be passed this year. The full Judiciary Subcommittee must now mark up the bill. The earliest that this can happen is after the August recess.

And they are on vacation for the next five weeks and then return for a couple only to leave for the election season. Chances of it getting thru are going to be slim to numb.
We have seen so many get this far and then get strong out and off to pasture. Until you see it up for a vote in the Senate, do not put much into it.
It also does not create visas immediately, never has either. It takes months before they are recouped, and since they were just recouped last May/June not sure where they are going to come up with these. An extra 62,000 were added in last summer but it did not make a dent in the number as most of you have noticed.
These additional visas will still not guarantee visas for those that are waiting. 20,000 is only a drop in the bucket for those that are already waiting and have completed petitons.
