NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

Please take the time to do some reading on this forum about what is going on in Canada right now, you were speaking of a pilot program that we are no longer hearing about. Taking and passing of the NCLEX-RN exam does not give one licensure in Canada as the LPN. Even a US trained nurse is unable to do that.

And be aware that if you are in Canada working under a signed contract for a different company, the original one in the US has every right to cancel out everything for you immediately if they wish and they would cancel out all of the waiting that you have done and you would be starting over again and have to find a new employer.

These are things that you need to explore first.

hi... thanks for your inputs... at this time I am no longer interested in working for my US employer. My friends are also going to canada, so i guess I would like to take the other route that is to give up my plans to work in the US. Besides all the expenses for my NCXLEX exam and visa fee bill were my personal expense.

Most of my closed friends are planning to work in canada. I am really in confusion right now. My employer is in Alberta Canda and your right I need to take the CRNE also even though I am already a US-RN. I am willing to take the exam as long as I can leave the country soon... Right now there is no assurance yet if the October VB will process March 1, 2006 or they will go back again to the latter months.

I dont know what to do at this time.

Hello everyone. So long since my last post. I've been reading post here but seems everyone is quiet.. Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

It will have gone quiet as there is nothing happening and nothing will happen now until the October bulletin

Which cases will have strong possibilities to be interviewed this year? Are those with earlier PD's or cases which were doc qualified earlier?

Files have to be complete before they can move forward so just having a early PD doesn't mean you will move forward.

Thanks Silverdragon...

I had also read from the other forum someone commented there that if the law firm who's handling your case is quite known or popular, then there is a strong possibility of prioritizing their respective cases. Is this true? If that would exist, then that would be really be unfair for many.

Fruity, I was also getting the same response when I called the NVC the other day. I know visas are unavailable but was somehow hoping for some miracles. hehehe... Anyway, we only have 2 or 3 months to look forward to, and I know we can still wait that much since we had waited for so many years now. Let's all keep each other's updated to hopefully see some postive outcomes. God is gracious to those of us who waited patiently and took this way LEGALLY. I hope He'll hear our prayers this time....

Thanks Silverdragon...

No, that's not true and may even be the other way around.

Just research on the current H1B visa investigation being conducted by the US Dept. of Labor and DHS where the law firm being investigated first is the biggest law firm that does these things and there is already at least 1-2 more law firms being lined-up after them.

When things are being investigated, the bigger ones are the ones being lined-up first.

Hi dewko, unfotunately I am still here in the Philippines and still waiting for an interview schedule. Hoping there will be good news on October.

Hi guys! Do you think we will have to send the NVC again new set of requirements once our PD in October becomes current again?
