I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????

Yes. All those under process right now should pray that you close out your case before it moves backward again. If the dates moves backward again and your case isn't finish then everything will put on hold again and people will be waiting for the next cycle again.
its April meaning they (NVC pipz) are already processing the PD of July 2005. Are their anybody here that got the confirmation frm the Embassy 'bout the interview dates?
Have my medical on wednesday 2nd at 13:30 and have my embassy interview thursday 3rd April 0900 have already arrived in London as i type am sat in he hotel chilling, its been a long wait but hopfully everything will go smoothly this week.

Just to give clarifications. Actually the cut-off dates on the VB are those who will be allowed to get immigrant visas and it is actually the embassies or consulates that distributes the immigrant visas, so a cut-off date of July 2005 would mean that the NVC has most likely processed or completed those cases already and are likely have been transfered to the respective consulates as well.
Right now, base on reports in this thread the NVC is already processing those with Dec. 2005 PDs for Philippines. This means that if NVC finishes those and will be transferring it to the consulates, the cut-off date will have to move again for those completed cases to be eligible to be given immigrant visas by their respective consulates.
So, if NVC finishes those with Dec. 2005 PDs by the end of the first week of the month (this is the time the one in-charge of estimating the cut-off dates gathers data from USCIS and NVC, etc..) he has all reasons to make the cut-off date for the upcoming VB to be Jan. 2006. In essence, NVC should be slightly ahead in most cases.

Just read an unconfirmed report that someone with a Nov 2005 PD (PH) had her case transfered from NVC to the respective consulate. If this is accurate, we can expect at least a Dec. 2005 cut-off date for the next VB.
Those with PDs of Dec. 2005 pls. update everyone on this thread once you have word that it has been completed by NVC and transfered to the respective consulates. Also, anyone with Jan-March 2006 PDs that are eligible for further processing as well ?? Thanks.
i've had this exact scenario last year. this means i have to update everything again. send a new ds-230 and a new nbi clearance. it is set to expire on July 2008. hope my lawyer sends my packet 3 faster this time. he is the case of most of my delays.

hi to everyone! need some help here.just want to ask which comes first, the sending of the visa fee bill or the ds230? quite confused coz last year before the july VB fiasco, my agency asked for an updated ds230, now ive checked my status at NVC via email and they are telling me to wait for the packet to arrive regarding the visa fee increase.
