NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

hello leis23 and fruity, my PD is current now and this is the same message (missing and incomplete, blah blah) that I have been hearing since My PD become current and until now,it's still the same message I've been hearing even if my name has been declared as documentarily qualified last Aug 2007. However, NVC has requested me again to submit an updated DS230 last March and it was forwarded by my agency only last week so no updates yet.Like you, I also got confused. (But my opinion is, I think your PD will be current soon, hopefully).

Hi Pretty neirelle,

What are the documents NVC requested you to update? ds230, nbi, photos and xerox of passport only or did they also request birth and marriage certificates?

Thanks!

Hi! I have a question and hoping someone can shed some light on this...My PD is Nov 2005. NVC voice response states that ""The lawyer will receive information in the next 90 days". a change from the previous message "No visa availability...." as most of us here with PDs of July -Dec 2005 have in our messages from NVC voice response. With the movement of the visa bulletin, there is a good chance for my PD to be current on the May VB. (keeping our fingers crossed).

Any news on your case being complete and being transfered to the Embassy already ? Already read an unconfirmed report that someone with a Nov. 2005 PD had it transfered to their respective consulate already and some of those with Dec. 2005 dates have a diff. message now as well.

hi everyone!I'm new here but been reading the posts often and this thread is the best..hope everyone updates here.it really helps a lot. Can't help browsing. ummm..have a question for those who are now eligible for processing. were you required to submit pictures? my petition is not yet eligible. hope next vb brings good news.:nuke:thank you.

hi, I am already on my packet 3 going to packet 4 when retrogression kick in. well, i guess there is no harm naming my attorney since it was all over california immigration circle when the conviction was handed down. His name is Mr. Philip Abramowitz. I called the law firm and they said nothing to worry about since he was not the only lawyer of the firm and a series of legal blah, blah, blah. But you see, I can't help worrying. Anyway, I'll take your advice, I will try calling my employer, although I am not very optimistic because employer usually won't tell you much, they are used to saying and I quote, "Don't worry, we are working on it".

Thenx again and God Bless...savian:nuke:

hi there! unfortunately, you and my husband have the same lawyer. what my husband is trying to do now is transfer to another lawyer in the hopes that his application will no longer be associated with Abramowitz's firm. i still don't know if this is actually possible but he's still going to meet with the new lawyer next wk... we'll see how it goes...

Hi, would you be so kind as to tell me what happen to your husband's paper after meeting with your new lawyer or whatever advice he gets from him. I will appreciate it very much if you can post it here as well, thenx and God bless...savian:nuke:

Called NVC automated response just now but I think there's something wrong with their message...the message states "NVC has reviewed your packet of information and found some documents missing, the NVC has mailed a letter regarding what documents are missing on April 14, 2006...". This is odd since on August 2007, I was already declared documentarily qualified so how can they say now that a letter was mailed on April 2006 (one year before I was declared documentarily qualified). Will try emailing them and see what their response in the email will be.

I think you have to submit again a new NBI Clearance and an updated DS230. :)

It won't be a problem submitting new NBI and DS 230 again but we'll have to wait for the official request/letter from NVC. As of now, my lawyer has not received any request from NVC yet.

hi all posts here are highly appreaciated ! thanks for keeping this thread lively .

voice prompts from "no visa availability" to "the lawyer will receive information in the next 90 day" has been changed to "we are awaiting for the biometric report from the lawyer" as per inquiry at nvc minutes ago. ohhhh here we go again......i thought it was all done on july last year :) :) well..... no instructions yet has been received by my laywer so i guess i will just ready my ds230 as well as the renewal of my nbi clearance which is due to expire on july 2008.

pd: oct. 2005

wow... nice to hear that the NVC is really serious this time processing our stone old applications... I hope it will be our turn this time...
