My ADN and BSN programs in Wisconsin didn't require any foreign language. I also got into a top 10 graduate nursing school and I still don't know a foreign language. I don't know where you're from OP but if you're in an area that has a lot of immigrants maybe that's part of it. I will add that it will definitely make you more desirable to employers if you know a second language that is common in your area so even if you get into college without it, try to take a couple classes and learn one. I wish I had done that.

Hello nurses! :) I was wondering if you guys knew of any nursing schools anywhere in the US that don't require HS foreign language as one of their requirements to be admitted or are lenient on it. I'm in my senior year and had a change of heart and barely decided I wanted to go to college and it is too late to get those foreign language requirements in. Thank you for any help :)
