  1. Yes you will need to get the 18-19 season flu shot which may come out a little bit after you start the semester. They know when it usually comes out so they will be lenient on that one.
  2. I am sorry Khuff77 I wasn't notified of your post. The first semester you will have skills, theory, and clinicals. You will either have skills and theory the same day which means you would go to the campus one day and the hospital the other or you may get theory one day, skills one day, and clinical one day. My schedule was Tuesday 9-12 for skills Wednesday Theory 1-4:50, and clinicals Thursday 6:30-3:30.
  3. Thank you so much for the insight and advice! I really appreciate it.
  4. You don't need to retake the hesi you will get in 100%
  5. Unfortunately no, I'm in regular track. Sorry.
  6. Clinicals are once a week. For the first semester it is 630 am to 330 pm. Second semester would be 12 hrs once a week. I am a current student so if y'all have any questions about the program let me know. Good luck everyone!
  7. Hello everyone! I recently got a call to interview for a PCT job on a neuro telemetry floor. This is my first patient care tech interview so I am a it nervous. The only patient experience I have is from my first semester of nursing school. Can anybody give me advice on what to expect in this interview? What is the Neuro Telemetry floor like? I have looked up basic things on the internet but I would like to hear from experienced PCTs. Thanks in advance.
  8. No worries! Thank you for letting us know.
  9. Were you accepted to Tarrant County College? I do not recognize that name and that is not the dates that the upperclassmen were told. Just want to make sure.
  10. Of course you can go join
  11. Yay! I'm happy for all that got in!
  12. I can promise you that it is not a decoy. This is normal. I am sorry yall have to wait.
  13. Lol yeah around that ballpark. The wait seemed so long and I think that is why I ugly cried when I finally got the email. Haha! So much pressure lifted. Just hang in there.
  14. Also they told us like 3 weeks late if I remember right. It was an awful wait. I feel y'alls pain believe me.
  15. They sent the letters last semester at 5 PM I am sure they have it automated to send at that time so everyone gets it all at once. I am in the fall 2017 class. Good luck everyone!
