Anyone ever considered getting a nursing school pen pal? I know this term is very 1990 but I think it would be a good learning experience and also an extra support system. The oppurtunity to share your test scores, your struggles, your clinical experiences and see how someone else is handling nursing school sounds so awesome to me! I'd love to hear your stories! Anyway, if anyone is interested PM me :)
Hi Sophie, I sent you an email. I do not know how to check my PM or send PM's. It just so happen that your message with your email came to my phone, that is how I was able to view it. If anyone can instruct me how to do so, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Cannot wait to get to know you all. And good luck to everyone!
ok so those of you who e-mailed me, i got your messages :) some of you i haven't heard from and i apologize to some who i havent gotten around to emailing.
but anyway, for those interested.. now i am just trying to come up with a way to do this. to be honest, i was looking for a pen pal for myself and really didnt think i would get but 1 or 2 people interested, and since there is about 6 of us interested..i hate to chose 1 person and leave everyone else out to dry. so i was thinking maybe i could randomly pair people up or if someone would like more than one "pen pal" i can arrange that as well. if that doesn't bother anyone! i'd love to have several pen pals but know that i dont have time for it, please forgive me so if you are specifically looking to be paired up with someone similar to you (prenursing, ADN program, BSN program, based on semester, or age) then I can also get to know a little about everyone and pair us all up that way the best that i can? i know some of you aren't picky but some of you may be specifically looking to get some advice from someone who is further along in the program while someone else may be looking for someone who is also in a BSN program. SOOOO let me know what you guys want :) send me a PM or e-mail! if you do not know my email, PM me and i'll give it to you.
***to send a PM, scroll to the top of the page where it says My Account..click on it and about the 3rd option down it says Private Messages...that is where you can send messages to one another. also if you are looking to send a PM to someone you can also click on the icon under there name that looks like a pencil and piece of paper which will specifically let you send a PM to that person. any questions let me know :)

I'm interested. My first nursing school pen pal and I actually met and are friends now. She's a year behind me. I enjoy mentoring her in what to expect and when not to freak. It would be nice to have a new person to commiserate with!
