Nursing School Pen Pal

Anyone ever considered getting a nursing school pen pal? I know this term is very 1990 but I think it would be a good learning experience and also an extra support system. The oppurtunity to share your test scores, your struggles, your clinical experiences and see how someone else is handling nursing school sounds so awesome to me! I'd love to hear your stories! I'd think twice about publishing e-mails in a public thread. At least put in spaces so a bot won't find it: name @ domain dot com. Just sayin'...

WOW! i haven't been on this thread in awhile...i didn't realize so many people would be interested! i hope everyone is finding pen pals through my thread..i'd definitely like to get to know some of you... i have been keeping tabs with one girl through e-mail and it is definitely a good learning experience...plus it helps to vent to someone who understands a little better what you are going through because i know family, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, children, etc who AREN'T in nursing school might not "get it". am a 3rd yr nursing student in Nigeria and very much interested in migrating to the west after my study....looking to meet nursing pals and colleagues who can share ideas and interest. Nursing over here is quite interesting but very tedious..luv to know more about the practice in other parts of the world...
