Failed this March nclex exam. I need your help.
I used Hurst for content review and Kaplan and Learning Extension for questions. SATA are my weakness as well!

Got my ATT (bites nails)... 6 weeks enough to review?
I studied for 6 weeks also and I thought it was plenty of time, although you never really truly feel ready, Lol. I used Hurst for content which was a tremendous help and used Lippencott, Saunders, and Learning Extension for questions. I did around 200-300 questions per day. Good luck!!!

At my school you have two attemps to pass the teas or else that was it!! I am so terrible in math so to prepare I bought a teas study guide and just went over the math questions over and over and over...

working while doing full time nursing classes
Totally agree with Chapis--If one must work, then thats what one must do. It would be awsome to be able to not have to work and focus on school...but its something that not everybody can do.

How long is clinical prep?
Thank-You for your replies. I know its different for every program, for my program we have to go to the hospital the day before and were assigned a patient--gather infor on the patient--then go home and prepare a care plan. I was just curious about the amount of time that people put into it. Thank-You again for your input, I now realize it will be very consuming :)

How long is clinical prep?
Hello--I am starting my nursing program Spring 2011 and I'm trying to decide which days to have clinicals. One of the things we have to do before clinicals is of course clinical prep the day before and I was just curious, how long does clinical prep usually take? Is it longer at first, then gets shorter as the semester goes on? Any input would be appriciated :)

Just Accepted To Nursing School
Congradulations!!! I start my program on Jan 18. This is the time that I'm just breathing a sigh of relief that I'm now in the program and I have a awesome future ahead of me...as long as I work hard and stay focused. Good luck to you and I hope everything falls into place and it goes by fast!

I don't want your reality... (Vent)
Good luck to you!!! You sound like a strong and determined person and I know its hard and frustrating My family is exactly like that...after I had my daughter they were frustrated with me for even wanting to go back to school because then I would be neglecting her and not spending enough time with her. I would just nod and smile at their suggestions because deep down inside I knew what I had to do not just for myself but for my baby as well. I took awhile but I am so happy to be starting the nursing program Spring 2011 and even though I still get those remarks and comments from family, I know it is almost over :) Stay strong and carry that passion with you and I know you will pull through.

Congradulations!!!! There's no feeling like recieving that acceptance letter and knowing all that hard work paid off :) I will start my nursing program in Spring 2011 and I'm so excited. I too hope to set an example for my little girl and show her that hard work and determination does indeed pay off.
