Nursing Research online starting 5/19

Hello anybody that is taking this course starting 5/19/2014.

I read the previous, quite lengthy thread that has been generated about this course and am now scared to death! I hate working with a group and statistics was not a strong subject for me.

Perhaps we can begin a thread for the upcoming class and provide support for each other during the hard times, then laugh about it when it's over!

And for anyone that has recently taken Nursing Research 4325 online: Do I need my Statistics textbook? Is there a lot of statistics-based math or statistics concepts that I may need to refer to?

I am in this course and I am completely stressed out!!

I have read all of these threads and done all of the course work. My group is not that good thus far and I am in freak out mode. If you could please send me any helpful info that would be amazing and I would really appreciate it!

The JC club paper was the killer. If only I had known about Wiley and Cochrane at the time, so much wasted effort could have been spared going in circles with CINAHL and EsbscoHost. From what we experienced (and read), our group was graded much harder than others (and I'm speaking of the A.C., in particular). The JC paper basically torpedoed a high A for the class, but a B is acceptable considering the circumstances. I have not acquired another B since that time, nor have I experienced grading that was that poorly defined and arbitrary. I am just a short three weeks from completion and looking forward to moving on to the MSN program in short order.

Hi guys, I'm late to the party. I'm in week 4 of this class and can't wait to put the whole class behind me.
