It does depend on the area as has been said. You'll find schools under 50K as well as those over 100K. It's a decision you'll have to weigh with your options but all in all I think it's an investment that's worth the sacrifice.

North Shore-LIJ ED & Critical Care Fellowship April 2015
I experienced their ED and really didn't like it for many reasons. Do your research ahead and ask those that work on the unit questions before diving in.

Ever considered something like a level 1 trauma ER or flight nursing? Seems you're an adrenaline junkie and that should be a good fit!

How to pass CCRN?!?
I just recently took and passed the CCRN and the CEN within a month. I had trouble with CEN even though i work in the ER. The questions are not as specific as the CCRN. I used the Gasparis DVD (watched twice and took notes) and the Pass CCRN questions (must've done close to 1000 questions). You can do it. Good luck.
