Published

Hello!

If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

maryland full time nursing student.

VP of my local student nurses association

1st semester done ( :) ) asking for 2 years assistance

GPA 3.44

EFC 0000

4 years of community service in underserved communities

I think October if your no longer being considered. I think that's when most rejection emails are sent.

Yes, I knew that date was for most of the denial e-mails. I was just thinking that if they extended the date for denials then they might be a little late on approval e-mails too.

*sigh* another day spent wondering and waiting....:whistling:

I will also be working part-time during school, but my salary won't even touch my $21,200/semester tuition (my school is also private). I feel for those who are at private institutions! It's stressful trying to secure funds... ):

Woah! Thats how much it cost me for two semesters at MUSC!

Yeah it's an amazing school with a lot of educational opportunities .....but it has an expensive price tag...$$$$

I live in Illinois

How about you??

I live in maryland. I'm expecting my first child actually any day now! Soooo I will definitly be working. But hopefully not as much if I get this scholarship.

My school is also a private school and even with my student loans and grants I still need to pay an additional $3000 for one semester. I am thinking of getting a job as a CNA. I just need to take the CNA licensing test since I have already finished a year of nursing school.

Wow, congrats that is great. Everyday I pray harder for us all. Let the countdown begin.

Hey ! I'm late to the thread.

No credit check here (yet)

I'm starting the Psych DNP program at USD !
