Nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016

Hello!

If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

maryland full time nursing student.

VP of my local student nurses association

1st semester done ( :) ) asking for 2 years assistance

EFC 0000

4 years of community service in underserved communities

Mine still says under review and no credit check yet. I go to school in NC.

I have to work during school to pay for my health insurance since my school does not have a student plan, and because I've passed the age to be on my parents insurance. Not to mention paying for gas to get to school an hour away from my house. UNLESS I get this scholarship, then I can use the stipend to pay for all of that.

Ooo ok bprice23, and yes I am praying that we all get it. Paying a 50k tuition isn't easy and I don't want to take out another loan. Likewise I am constantly checking hrsa and credit karma and nothing. Hopefully this week we can hear something.

Yea my school is also private. It's $30 grand a year, with 2 full years left. I will be $90 in debt by the time I'm done.

I have been checking constantly so much I felt like I had OCD I had to step away from my phone. I know that this is very frustrating but I pray that we all get it. I already have a lot of loans and they are due to run out. I work full time and go to school full time. I just know that this will benefit us all. I am praying for us all. Let the count down begin ladies.

I am in the same boat. Mine is 30 thousand a year and I am not finished until 2017. I hope we all get this.

I plan on working as well. I work at 2 hospitals but with a 50k tuition I'm not trying to risk failing. Failing isn't an option for none of us!

Failing sure is not a option. I really hope this week we hear something from the past threads the 20th until end of august is when peopel heard so keep our fingers crossed. I am praying for us all because I am sure if we didnt need it we would not be applying for it.

I am from California. EFC is zero. I have completed my first year of BSN program and my program GPA is a 3.8 but my overall GPA is a 3.2. I am just waiting nervously to find out if I am one of the finalist.

I did notice that on their Facebook page they said that they have until October 1st this year. I could have sworn that in previous years it was the end of September.
