Nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016

Hello!

If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

maryland full time nursing student.

VP of my local student nurses association

1st semester done ( :) ) asking for 2 years assistance

GPA 3.44

EFC 0000

4 years of community service in underserved communities

I swear it kills me to have to constantly wait and check to see under review. I am praying that we all get this and lord know we need it. Keep our fingers crossed everyone.

I am really trying to stay positive. I called she said all she can tell me is they started sending notifications and check spam and regular email and good luck.

I was looking at last years thread and lots of ppl got their credit checked on july 30th and then a finalist email on the 31st or aug 1st

Mine still says "Under Review" ... Has anyone gotten their credit checked? In last year's threads, they sent one round of notifications on July 31st & Aug 1st and then another round about a week after the first ones (if I remember correctly).

The wait is ahead ladies. I think that they notify the Np first from the information gathered in previous spreads. I am praying for us all.

They said that when i called but i think they do np students first. Lets keep praying

Notifications already guys? this is what happens when you don't log on in 2 days. Good luck everyone and don't forget to check your spam folder as well. Keep us posted.

Just curious, if they send a notification, does the status on the application change? Sometimes my email can be....less than cooperative. I would hate to miss the email...

From previous threads I believe they said it changes from under review to final review. But I may be wrong it's been a while since I saw it
