I'm so sorry to hear that after waiting so long for your results, that you failed. I know that life can really suck at times. You're going through hell right now because of the other issues going on in your life and now NCLEX. I would suggest first getting on your feet and try work through your other problems, and then try to clear your mind to study again. I passed with Suzanne's plan. Maybe that could work for you too, but don't give up. You worked too hard to get through nursing school.
Best of luck!

the value of your life is way more than a SIMPLE TEST.Just relax and give yourself another chance in life. you are worth it. even God forgives us and gives us a second chance in life, and you are entitled to being given as many chances as it will take, for you to eventually succeed.the biggest mistake you can make in life is to give up on your dreams and to give up on yourself. It is written that for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not die, but have everlasting life.IF God loved you that mush, then you are worth something.

I highly recommend Kaplan, in my opinion, the best review to prepare for the NCLEX.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It would probably be a good idea to take a few days to relax & clear your mind...do some of the things you enjoy doing. When learning to ride a bike, what did you do when you fell off? You got back on! Same thing applies here. I can't believe in my mind that you are stupid or dumb...you made it through school. That is an accomplishment in itself...if you can do that, you can pass boards! I agree with the OP...I used Suzanne's plan (check the "sticky" at the top of this forum for details), too. Just remember that the grace of God will not take you where the grace of God can not keep you! All my best to you! :icon_hug:

These things are part of our LIFE no matter what you do, they still come and go! But these TRIALS are our foundation in life, it makes us stronger than we ever know, challenges us to strive harder, and molds us to become a better person. EVERYTHING has a reason. I know that you can overcome these things in your life..just BELIEVE in yourself and don't LOSE HOPE.

Im very sorry to hear this. I do know how you feel. I had also failed. Give yourself some time and get back up and do it again. I was just thankful that it wasn't a one shot deal.
Take care!

Do NOT give up!!! You have so many different things going on right now and even though you might have felt prepared, your brain was probably wasn't. It was probably going crazy with all the stuff going on that it didn't allow you to really think clearly. If I were you I would NOT start studying again until some of the things going on in your life are taken care of. I say that because I too was in a similar situation with failing due to having too much stuff going on. But I failed 5 times because I did not give myself a break. I just kept taking the test immediately after the other (after my 90 days) assuming that some "mistake" must have happened, denying that all the bullcrap going on in my life played a huge part (divorce, depressionk, moving, new job, etc....). The last time I took the test was 3 years ago. You might not have to wait that long, maybe not even close, but wait until you are mentally and emotionally ready. For me I feel confident and stable, my life is back on track, and that I'm ready, so I started studying again, slowly and I'm taking my time. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!! Right now just was not your time, but your time will come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry to hear about you not passing the nclex. If I were you, I would develop a new strategy for next time. My cousin took the test 4 times before she finally passed. It just was not her time. I know you are intelligent because you completed the nursing program. I believe you will pass next time when you implement the new plan. I wish you well. Good luck.
