Has anyone used this free app? I think it looks amazing but I can't get it to work [emoji24]

I can't find it in the app store. What is it for?

It seems interesting. And if I could integrate it into my charting already, I think it would be OK. But now it looks like double charting to me. Also, I'm assuming that you can pick and choose when you send updates to the sign-up parents? I'm not sure I need to send updates when your kid is "sick" aka tired, and I just let them rest for a few minutes.

It's on the App Store. I think it will be helpful at least to communicate with teachers.

I don't think it would catch on here. Email or the phone is much simpler and I don't have to keep checking my cell phone all day.

the only plus i can see after glancing at it for a moment and not downloading it is that it would cut down on the little nitpicky calls for those parents. It would be beneficial too for the few parents that i have that are deaf and that have requested that i text them - i have not at this point - i use the deaf chat service that they subscribe to if their child needs a pick up but this would be good for something less urgent.

On the other hand - Yes - i see this as double charting which i hate. i see this becoming something i'd ultimately need to do for every visit for 800 children. which would be horrible. And unless the district is willing to get me an ipad of my very own, i am not thinking that this is something that i'd necessarily want to put on my own phone and use my own data on. Just my initial thoughts...

Teachers have ipads and this would be super beneficial but getting them to write a pass is already a pain.

Unless my school system provides me a phone I will not be using my personal cell phone for any kind of technology like this..

No thanks.
