May 23, '17Joined: May '17; Posts: 1Hi, can anyone please help me regarding this confusion I have with the CES requirement. does the verification of license form be downloaded after you pay the 385$ service fee for CGFNS? or is there any other form which I dont have any idea or might have overlooked. and since I have 2 licenses does that mean I need verifications for both? or just my home country license verification. thanks a lot in advance guys..

I suggest going through ERES its quicker and cheaper than CGfnsHi, can anyone please help me regarding this confusion I have with the CES requirement. does the verification of license form be downloaded after you pay the 385$ service fee for CGFNS? or is there any other form which I dont have any idea or might have overlooked. and since I have 2 licenses does that mean I need verifications for both? or just my home country license verification. thanks a lot in advance guys..
Jul 13, '17Joined: Jul '17; Posts: 2Hi, i would like to ask in behalf of my friend. She received her BSN in the Philippines in 2010 and did not take her board because she moved to Texas to start a family and now she would like to practice nursing in the US. What can you suggest she do first? Should she go ahead take the Philippine's board first. Take a refresher course? or Buy kaplan's study guide? I would appreciate your response. Thank you in advance.
Jul 21, '17Joined: Jul '17; Posts: 2Hi Kathleen, I'm new at this website and posted a question and I was referred to this site. I was hoping to get some information for my friend who graduated in the Philippines in 2010 and did not take the board there. And now she lives in Texas and wants to pursue her nursing career. It's been 7 years now, do you know if TX BON will still credit her BSN degree?
Nov 8, '17Joined: Nov '17; Posts: 1Hi Kathleen, thanks for your sharing your experience! I graduated nursing in the Philippines way too long, 10 years ago! Now, I'm planning to go back in the nursing workforce!! (cross fingers if all goes well for me....!!!) Tell me, what is ATT and Texas Nursing Jurisprudence Exam? So how long did it take you to finally have your RN license in Texas? You said that you need to take a refesher course, what school did you go to?
Thanks in advance!

Im also applying for Texas, and currently in the process of CES report. CGFNS will receive the license validation on feb 16, I was informed that it will take 20-30 business days before they will update the status as "received" in the CGFNS account.
May I ask, after CGFNS issues report, and have informed you via email that they will be sending the report to Texas BON, how many days, weeks or even months will the TEXAS BON send a letter or email of Eligibility to take for NCLEX? including the sending of fingerprint card, registering for PEARSON and sending application to Texas BON.
So I can estimate when can I sit for NCLEX..

Although these events took place some time ago, i would like to ask a couple of questions.
So you completed the board exam in texas and passed, then you are considered an rn in texas. You jumped to how you studied in order to pass the nclex. However, can you explain if you reapplied to the ca bon? And did you gather a year of experience in texas before trying california again? California forgot all about you retaking courses? How exactly did that reciprocity process go?
I am sorry if im throwing questions at you, i personally am in a situation where i graduated from the philippines march 2016 and the ca bon is requiring me to take med surg and ob again. I am considering taking the texas boards, because it is impossible to find a school to retake those two classes. I do not want to wait too long because i am eager to have my license.
Thanks in advance!

I need help.. advice, insight, anyone?
I am a graduate of nursing way back in 2013 here in the PH and passed the board the same year.
I am now determined to start my NCLEX journey.. supposedly, to CA BON but I heard about the usual prob which is about completing the deficiency at CA approved schools. Since our curriculum is pretty messed up, I know that my OB and MS are not concurrent with my RLE cases..
So I think I may end up with TX. But upon researching and goin thru the laws, I saw this:
"Didactic learning experiences shall be provided either prior to or concurrent (at the same time) with the
related clinical learning experiences"
Does it mean that they are implementing the same rule as with other non compact license states? By the way, if I am not mistaken I got this on their website its a PDF file.. it has something to do i guess with enhanced nursing compact license agreement.. anyone experiencing this now at TX? Or does anyone just started their journey at TX BON? Please help😭

I'm from the Philippines.....
