Hi guys first of all thank you for your response! My result came out today & I failed. Like I said, I was kind of expecting it. I really don't mind doing a re Take but at the moment I can't really afford it. Also I'd like to better prepare for my NClex which is getting all the books & reviewers that I need. Till then I just wanna know if I can at least get another back up license like a CNA one till I get me my RN one. Cos you don't really know when you're going to pass right? I know alot of people who took it multiple times before they made it. And I also know those whom, no matter how many times they took it, they just kept failing & shifted their focus on something else.

Hi guys, so I took my NCLEX RN recently and unfortunately I failed. (I just know I did. I'm not even waiting for the result.) so I was wondering if any of you guys, any BSN international graduate out there who failed the NCLEX RN took a different route say taking the Challenge exam for CNA/LPN/LVN. can you share some insights on how the processing went and what exactly to expect from it. PS: its not that i don't want to re Take my RN exam, its just that i wanna explore other options most specially the CNA one since i'm literally near broke & most of the hospitals/facilities where i'm at prefer a CNA/LPN/LVN licensed individual to work for them. & its so weird cos none of the places i applied for are calling me back like random job places (eg. clothing stores, restaurants) is it because i have a bachelor's degree? please help. getting a little desperate here!

What we did when I was assigned in the pediatric department was, whoever the call light's patient was assigned to he/she will answer it regardless of the situation, whethere she's mixing meds or preparinf meals etc, unless ofcourse that nurse is not at the station, eg he/she is at another bedside. The nurse at the station will respond to the client's call then inform the nurse assigned on that patient that she has a pending call. As for the CNAs, we didn't have them, but our nursing attendant, when vacant, they would tend to the call as long as the assigned nurse is not present or no other nurses are present to address the client's concern. Its a matter of discipline & understanding that you work as a team. When you are on the floor, you function as a responsible team member.

Hi everyone, Let me introduce my self. I'm a graduate of BSN & licensed in the Philippines. I trained for psychiatric nursing in a government psychiatric facility for a year. I worked for a local government tertiary hospital 400 bed capacity as a pediatric nurse for less than a year, then eventually became a neonatal icu nurse for 2yrs. I recently moved to the US & apparently due to my busy schedule & understaffing in the facility I worked for, I was not able take my nclex exam in the Philippines. I scheduled my exam this december, hoping that I would pass (first timer) but just incase, I'm wondering, what are the other job opportunities I might have if I fail the us licensure since I spent most of what I have to migrate to the US & I will be needing a job after I take the test to pay the bills Am I qualified for any other other health care work aside from caregiving? do I need to take exams or certifications inorder to work in the heath care industry?

hello! i've already applied for the cgfns forms and it says that i need to sign it. honestly i do not know which part of the form should i put my signature on. i tried googling it to no avail. and i'm afraid of making a mistake and repeating the process since i'll be leaving the country in 2 weeks. can anyone help me please?

Thank you! I have a question though, should I apply for the CGFNS CES Professional Report one? Also, have you heard if there is an option for the PRC to rush the process of the papers? I heard it'll take about 2months or more for them to send it to CGFNS.

Hi! I am NICU Nurse in the Philippines and I'm flying to Texas this June, residing in US permanently. Yet, I have not taken my NCLEX nor my IELTS exam. I would like to ask if it is much better to apply for NCLEX once I stepped into US soil or should I process my papers while I'm in the Philippines since I'm educated, licensed and has worked here. (I just resigned recently) I hope I get responses from everyone as soon as possible because I'm so unsure on what steps to take to obtain my USRN license. Thank you so much in advance!

Hi everyone! I would like to clarify the steps in applying for nclex because I'm terrified in making a mistake. I just want to make sure its not going to be a hassle (due to my hectic schedule) and costly (i dont want to make a mistake in repeating payments or starting over). 1. I would like to clarify the steps. Is it CGFNS > Pearson Vue > Eligibility (Background Check) > Texas Nursing Jurisprudence > ATT 2. How long is the ATT usually released? Does it take 3-6months? 3.
