Hi there!

I just want to ask somebody here who has experience in processing for the NMC-UK with a previous experience in Saudi Arabia. Herewith are the requirements for an ex-saudi nurse to comply. Please do correct me if there are any mistakes or errors.

1 . Final EXIT Visa in ENGLISH

2. Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia - translated and stamped by the Chamber of Commerce

3. NMC FORMS - License verification from SCFHS to NMC ( to be filled up and sent )

4. Employment certificate from Saudi

- needs to have details of sick leave

-reference letter from employer less than six months with official stamp

5. Good Standing Certificate - less than six months

6. SCFHS Certification ( Gray Colored Certificate) copy in with english translation

7. Copy of SCFHS card

I know these are a lot but I just wanted to clarify on how do I obtain these especially that it has been a year since I worked from the hospital. Is it necessary to have these forms completed? thanks for the help.

So once they sign the RAV form does it mean good standing certificate is not necessary anymore?

Actually, they didn't look for the good standing certificate, just give them the RAV form and a copy of your passport and that's it.

Hi fauzwin, i need your help again, I would jud like to ask as to what inclusive dates should I include in my work experience section, I arrived in saudi arabia sept. 9, 2013 which was my contract date and was reflected in my coe, however I got my saudi license Nov.19,2017 took my prometric exam in the Philippines July 15,2013. Should I indicate sept. 7, 2013 or Nov.19, 2017? Thanks!

Hi. Don't worry about the discrepancy with the dates in your coe and your date of registration with saudi council.

For your reference forms, the inclusive dates should be the ones reflecting in your coe.

I have never heard of anyone required by NMC to submit their coe. But for your cv, some assessors will ask for it but most of the times they don't. But to be sure just include a copy of your cv when you send your reference forms.

Can I ask one more question, as I have mentioned before I also practiced in Jubail Aug2011-July2012 under Moh-sop and during that time I dont have a license because when I was hired I think it was late 2011 when they implemented the exam, however in my case I was not required by my employer to take an exam because during that time I already decided not to renew another contract and already filed for exit, they only required the exam for those staff who will sign for another contract.. I was advised to just upload a timeline cv and a letter addressing to that issue, Do you think that would be fine?

Oh that is fine. Just provide the document that they are asking. Just make the letter more melo-dramatic (LOL), the NMC is quite considerate.

Yes fauzwin, during that time i thought working in uk will just be an impossible dream and never thought of securing adequate documents during my practice, all i have was my coe, recommendation letter and exit stamp for that work experience.. Re-applied again in saudi arabia after a year with the same passport number and this time with prometric exam before landing to ksa and applied for a license(same passport number with the one I used when I was in jubail)and eventhing went well,my license is valid until 2019 and even secured a goodstanding cert..I think that would be enough reason to prove that eventhough I was not able to secure a license to the previous one, I qualified to their nursing council. Haist, so stressed out with this lately, thank you for the help fauzwin.

Oh I thought it was from the NMC.

Again, COSs and CVs are not necessary requirements of the NMC. If you are still on the process of completing the requirements then submit what is asked only. Then if in the assessment they will need addtl documents, then submit what is needed, if required, submit your cv with an explanation of your employment history.

Ah ok, so for the meantime i will just focus on the 2 employment references/forms? I have 3yrs work experience in Philippines 2008-2011, and almost 4yrs in makkah ksa 2013-2017, so il just give these 2?

Yeah sure, if you can provide one reference form each of your employment then that would be great, but if you can only provide from your latest employment, submit 2 from them, thats alright as well.
