World Registration

Published

Hi there!

I just want to ask somebody here who has experience in processing for the NMC-UK with a previous experience in Saudi Arabia. Herewith are the requirements for an ex-saudi nurse to comply. Please do correct me if there are any mistakes or errors.

1 . Final EXIT Visa in ENGLISH

2. Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia - translated and stamped by the Chamber of Commerce

3. NMC FORMS - License verification from SCFHS to NMC ( to be filled up and sent )

4. Employment certificate from Saudi

- needs to have details of sick leave

-reference letter from employer less than six months with official stamp

5. Good Standing Certificate - less than six months

6. SCFHS Certification ( Gray Colored Certificate) copy in with english translation

7. Copy of SCFHS card

I know these are a lot but I just wanted to clarify on how do I obtain these especially that it has been a year since I worked from the hospital. Is it necessary to have these forms completed? thanks for the help.

TIPS and advice are very much needed. Thank you

Hello, I am currently here in Abu Dhabi working as a homecare nurse for 9 months now. I am planning to go back to the Philippines and apply in UK. The problem is the management of my homecare facility is messed up. They wouldn't release COE or even NOC, also they wouldnt participate to fill the referral forms. Because of that, I'm thinking not to declare my UAE experience when applying to UK. I have 3 yrs hospital experience in the Philippines to declare, 2013-2016. Would there be any problem if i didnt declare my UAE experience? Thank you

Hello, when you apply to the NMC, they will ask for 2 employment reference forms to be filled up by your current or previous employers. They will not necessarily ask for your CV in the NMC portal so there's no need to declare or hide your home care experience under the employment category (unless they will ask for your CV or employment cert as follow up docs. This is a case to case bases so it's best if you have proofs).

For the process itself, you can just opt to have your 2 forms filled up by your previous employer in the PH.

However, in the licensure category, you must have the RAV forms filled up by the registering bodies in the countries that you have worked in as a nurse. So that's PRC in the PH and its equivalent in Abu Dhabi. I think you should not hide it as it's stated in your passport. Aside from the RAV, you must also acquire a police clearance from Abu Dhabi.

Hello mbasco,

I emailed NMC about the need to accomplish the Registrations Restriction form here in Saudi and they said there's no need to do so as I have already acquired subsequent registration.

In your case though, I wonder why they still asked for it? When was your assesment? I am still waiting for my assessor to contact me about it because that's only then that I can make sure I'm clear in that area.

Also, I have contacted someone about the form whom I met here at allnurses forum. She's also from Riyadh and is already set for deployment. NMC also didn't require her to send the form bu was asked to submit a CV instead.

Hello Sarah,

I also do not understand. What they told me is they want a proof that I have this months of experience in one of my employer in Dubai. It is very hard to get now as I am inthe Phil and not coming back. They should have ask for a CV or COE instead of another reference form. I was assessed last Jan 18 and was on que last Nov 27. I sent an email to my assessor regarding it last thursday, hopefully she will accept my appeal. Thank you.

Hello cornyu,

This is the sad part of some of our employer/s, they are not so supporting to us although we fullfilled our duties and responsibilities with them. I came from Dubai and waiting for my DL. I started processing everything last April.Based from my experience, better to start the full assessment while you are still there to get an idea about all the forms needed to be acomplished esp when you want to declare your AUH exp.

In the reference form in question, when was your start and end date? And when were you registered?

In my case, my start date in the form was feb 29,2016 and end date was nov. 11, 2017. However, my registration date in Saudi was June 28, 2016. Overall, even if you remove the 4 months of unregistered practice, my submitted forms still show that I have the required length of registered practice (from June 28,2016-Nov. 11,2017 is roughly 17months). This is just my assumption as to why the NMC told me there's no need to accomplish the registrations restriction form.

I guess it really depends on the officer who will assess. Apart from that, I have 3 years of exp in another company. I hope they will understand me. Waiting is very tiring .

Thank you sarahprz2018 :) But what if i applied for a new passport? Will NMC still be able to detect my travel/employment history?

Hi mbasco! That's true :( It's really hard to get certificates/forms from my employer. I don't know.. but i feel like, majority of employers here are like that.

Hello!

I am also in the assessment phase of my NMC application. I am planning to mail my documents next week but became hesitant after reading the posts on this forum. LOL. :blink:Anyway, here are my concerns:

1. Regarding the RAV, I do not have anyone to bring it to Saudi Council and have it accomplished so I will just submit a recent cert of good standing and a blank RAV. Do I need to attach a letter of explanation for this? If yes, could someone send me a sample copy of the letter? Here's my email address: [email protected]

Also, I read that the RAV submitted to PRC cannot be the same RAV to be submitted for the Saudi council verification. For this, I need to click on add additional registration authority details and download the RAV form from there. Is this correct?

2. Regarding the Police clearance certificate, I have mine but it was dated July 2017 as I left KSA August of 2017. I've read here that they are not accepting it if it's more than 3 months and I need to have my exit visa/stamp translated. May I ask for any recommendations for a translation office that offers online services as I'm from Mindanao and if possible their contact numbers. Thank you!

3. Some are having problems with the registration authority date. I have also started working in Saudi last March 2017 but my registration on my Saudi license is April 2017. I have my head nurse and our doctor from Saudi to complete the reference forms for me and the date we followed is the date in my COE which is March 2017. Should I ask for it to be changed to April 2017?

Hoping you could help me with these concerns as I would like to have these documents mailed as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hi mc14! I know the steps for the nmc application can be really overwhelming but don't let it stop you. I'm an ex saudi as well and i'll try my best to answer your q's.

1. Yes, you need to submit a blank RAV, valid cert of good standing from the saudi council (not more than 3 mos old) and a letter of explanation as to why your rav form is blank. Yes, click on additional registration details for you to be able to download the form that you will use for the saudi council. If you look at the barcodes closely you will see that they are all different from each other. So make sure not to interchange the forms.

2. In lieu of the KSA police clearance, you may submit your final exit visa paper (Muqeem) or the exit stamp on your passport. I had mine translated by Lexcode for P1200 per document/page. I just sent them a clear scanned copy of the docs I wished to be translated and they replied to my inquiry within the day.

3. I'm sorry but I don't think I can be of help to you with regards to this. I also started working for my KSA employer April 2013 but was only registered with SCFHS November 2013. However, the references i sent were from my recent local employer. I think it would be best if you email NMC about this matter. They usually reply within 1-3days.

Good luck with your application! :)

Hi. The NMC does not accept outdated police clearance. However, there is no need for you to get a new police clearance in saudi arabia. That would be impossible. What you can do is have your exit visa translated if you still have it, if not, then the exit stamp on your passport will do. have it translated in NCMF along Commonwealth Ave.,

Hi! How about for the visa application, what document do I have to submit in lieu of the KSA police clearance? Will they accept my final exit visa just like with the NMC? Is there a need for me to also write an explanation letter? TIA

@mayen Hi! I sent you a request earlier today. I can't send pms yet, though. I would like to ask, where are you with your nmc application?
