I have seen several job postings for these type of positions. I am interested in the position because it sounds like there is a good amount of flexibility.

Does anyone have experience doing them? What exactly does the visit entail? Did you enjoy it? What did you think of the salary? Thanks!

Specializes in ICU.

I happened across my job on indeed. I check that site daily. People make fun of me but this job only posted 2 days and was taken down. I feel very blessed! And UHC had a lot of posting on indeed right now.

Do anyone have contact information for medicare in home assessments?e o

Check UHG/UHC websites and Indeed. What area/state do you live in?

I an a Nurse Practitioner trying to get my independent contractor business as a side job to see Medicare/Medicaid/Insurance patients in home. How do I go about doing that?

I do this as an independent contractor through Matrix Medical one day per week.. Pay is better than anyone here quoted. Its per visit, 5-6 visits per day..

Jenniferm1023,

Do you like the company Matrix Medical? I noticed there are a lot of negative posts on glass door about this company's management but they are large and may not apply to the NP positions doing health risk assessments. So I was just wondering your opinion. There is a new posting through a recruiter Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. But it is a salaried benefited position. I appreciate your thoughts.

I'm a PA interested in home health, but Matrix Medical told me they do not hire PAs. Do you know why this is the case?

I think that the reason PAs aren't attractive to employers doing these assessments is state license limitations on independent practice, or at least practice without a MD onsite.

Hello, i too have begun doing at home assessments and I am looking for a back up company just I case my current company can't get appts in my area. Please pm me thanks
