Greetings!
After binge reading the thread for 2015-2016, I decided it's time to start one for this year. I am a single mother opting to pursue a BSN after a post-quarter life crisis. Because I have multiple degrees, I have just about exhausted all of my financial aid options. I would like to hear from anyone applying for the scholarship. What's your story? What are your stats? Previous applicants and recipients I would like to hear your story too!
Starting at a private nursing school in May (with what little fin. aid I have left)

1 year internship at group home for at-risk adolescents
5 years working with Dept. of Corrections (2.5 of which were counseling offenders)

You sound like you could be president with all that experience! I think you should have gotten it and even if you don't what a great person you are! Keep up the good work.

Dont loose faith/hope there is still plenty of time. Two months to know. I believe that you will receive the scholarship. You sound like you would make an amazing candidate
I would even love to know that I'm just not getting it at this point if I'm not. At least I would know lol. Does that make sense?
Same here I'll just go part time and work full time but I'm was hoping to know sooner before I drop drop full time to part time. But id rather know if i dont get the scholarship soonee than later.

Wow - I would have thought you would be a shoe in... I also thought I was a very strong candidate. Has anyone spoken to the customer service hotline recently and gained any insights from them? After the first round was given out they said only one third of the awards had gone out. I can't call them again though because I've been making myself crazy and only recently have grips with not receiving it.

I was also thinking that. On the bottom of that link after you sign in it should list all the documents submitted and should say recieved. If not, the application may not have gone through correctly.
