Hi everyone,
I am currently working on the application for the nurse corps repayment program 2015 and I need some help from someone who has also done this process before.
My question is in regards to the documents you have to upload:
1# Authorization to Release Information, Authorization to Release Employment Information- Do you print these off, sign, scan, and then upload to the site?
2# Curriculum Vitae/Resume- is this just a basic resume stating your current position you hold, and do you address it to the Nurse Corps??
3# Finally, proof of citizenship can I just scan my drivers license and then upload it to the application???
I would appreciate all insight please, I want to make sure I get this right the first time. Thanks ahead of time for looking I really do appreciate it.

I would love to continue holding out hope, but after applying 3 years in a row, my hope is all but gone.
I really think this program is a most welcomed gift to those whom receive it, but a nightmarish process for those of us who don't. The waiting, without any communication from HRSA, is horrible. I have yet to hear of any applicant receiving a denial letter before September 30th. I would rather know, as soon as the award process has begun, whether I'm in the running or not. For the last 3 years, there has been mass confusion on how to calculate what tier everyone is in. It would be nice if HRSA could verify it for us after we submit our applications. Like if it were to say under our status, "Under Review" - Tier 1, etc... then we would know, we might have a chance, depending on our D/I ratio. Also, the customer service representatives all give out different information, & the most that they can help us with, is telling us our status (which we can find out on our own) & when the deadline is. Gah! I completely understand that the biggest problem is funding. Usually the program runs out of money well before the end of the application process. I just wish they could communicate that to us on a HRSA forum. Sorry for the rant...just wish this process was a lot smoother & less frustrating for those of us who try to "patiently" wait.
On another note, CONGRATS TO ALL OF THE AWARDEES!!!!!!!!

I Totally agree with you
Can someone post the email address HRSA uses to inform applicants of their status? I'm afraid I'm going to miss something in the junk mailbox..
Just found it: [email protected]
Hope that things will go in your favor in the end to those of you who are still waiting. I have been notified and I am considered " in service" as of 7/31/15, the date of my counter signature. I noticed something I have not seen in my portal that related my loan repayment was processed but I have not received it. I called HRSA and they related that their standard of disbursement is 90 days and if one does not receive their deposit within 5 days after the expected date- which for me would be 10/31/15, to inform them. I was just wondering if any of the participants have seen this in their portal.
