2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Published

Hi Everyone,

I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

Does anyone know when they starting counting days off from work? Is it after our signature or after counter signature? I haven’t gotten a counter signature yet. Just wondering. Thanks!!

Congratulations to all who have been awarded! Have any RNs who work at a FQHC heard anything from NCLRP? I've seen hospital RNs but I think that's it. Just trying to figure out if it's still worth crossing my fingers over! ?

I am a RN at a FQHC and I heard something on the 16th, but no second signature yet.

Omg this wait for a second signature is killing me ? I am a FNP I received my finalist email 8/7/19. Any FNP get a second signature yet for the nurse corps LRP?

Also a FNP if you received the final certification on 8/7/19. No second signature yet! I feel like also a FNP if you received a final certification on 8/7/19. No second signature yet! I feel like I check 13 times per day!

Also a fnp. I check a bunch too especially since there was another NP that had her finalist email on 8/6 and had her counter signature last week. I’m praying ours is soon.

I’m pretty sure the NP that got the counter signature was either NHSC or rural community LRP not the nurse corps LRP. From what I gather the counter signatures in past for the nurse corps are typically about 30 days after. I’m checking like crazy too but not going to think anything of it until after at least 9/7

I’m an FNP, finalist 8/7, still waiting anxiously

I just received my acceptance letter today and submitted my info. Praying it all goes through! This is my 4th time applying!

Got COI for NHSC at 7 PM this evening and quickly logged in to sign off on my interest. Now I am anxiously rereading everyone's posts about how long it took for their cosignatures.

NHSC and NCLRP applicant, got NHSC (what I was hoping for, fingers crossed that cosignature appears!). PMHNP in an FQHC. HPSA 19. DTI ~115%.

Any of the FNPs hear anything yet from NCLRP? I had COI on 08/07 and I haven't had a cosign yet...uughh this wait is brutual

Also received a COI on 8/7, FNP for NCLRP. Waiting on co sig
