2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Hi Everyone,

I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

For NCLRP? I’m an RN and I received a finalist email with the first round, but no other notification since then

You can call, but they will not provide any information.

FNP at FHQC no word yet

the rural one- am I mistaken or did it have to be with substance abuse as well?

I would hate to know I missed an opportunity.

Your facility has to be an FQHC ,offer SUD treatment and be located in a rural area.

I recalculated my DTI and it’s 135% so has anyone received Nurse Corps Loan Repayment with a DTI around that yet?

I'm FNP Tier 1 DTI 161%, I haven't heard anything yet

To figure DTI, are you just doing base salary and student loan balance? I'm curious as well to what the DTIs are that have received awards from the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment. Those few I have seen get an award were definitely Tier 1 based on the scores they posted, but majority of awards I have seen people post about were either FNP or DTI >200%. I am impatiently waiting for an answer as well! ? I think I am around 113%, Tier 1, so I am doubtful I even get anything.

I’m same- FNP DTI 161% tier 1

I’m Tier 1 and DTI is 117%. I’m so worried about this. This is my second time applying.

@CBreezyRN I haven't seen any FNP posts for finalist for NCLRP, I have seen it for NHSC and Psych...where did you see this? OMG this suspense is killing me lol

I am a CNM/WHNP who provides buprenorphine at a FQHC; I have a DTI of 136%. I received a finalist notification for 75K a couple of weeks ago and a notification of award/service start date on Friday. The money has not been transferred into my account as of yet but I assume it is coming. This was my first year applying. I was Tier 1 in the substance use loan requirements. I don't think I would have gotten it through the other track. I didn't see any credit checks but I only checked one bureau.
