  1. I got the NHSC Rural Community LRP. My contract got cosigned today! FNP Third year trying for NHSC LRP site score 21. I had credit checks before but never anything further. I did get my suboxone waiver this year to try to boost my odds (although not prescribing currently) Keep trying. Read all the details about the funding priorities specific to the lrp you are applying to- there may be something in there you can do to boost your chances! I am so excited. Good luck to everyone.
  2. I am not guaranteed to get it until cosigned- so I am still nervous! The application period was supposed to close 4/23 but was extended to 5/15. I submitted my application in March.
  3. I got a finalist letter today! NHSC Rural Community Loan. I applied back in February as soon as the application cycle opened. Had a credit check in April, got an email from them last week wanting me to give them current loan payoff amounts. This is my third time applying. Good luck everybody!
  4. nope, she is a counselor and it was for the rural community lrp. I am the FNP that told her about the program and I am still under review! Joking- she deserves it too, but it is a reminder that there are also other disciplines that may be eligible for some of this funding too. So who knows, I don't thinks there is any way to predict their patterns of distributing awards at this point..... but they are still making offers.
  5. I have a co worker that got awarded 2 days ago. So there is still a sliver of hope!
  6. for those of you to receive award, which program is it? still under review for the rural community lrp.
  7. congrats! which program? still under review here.....
  8. I am an FNP in primary care and I applied for the Rural Community Loan Repayment and still under review.
  9. OMG That's great! You got the email on a weekend? Now I am going to be obsessively checking mine! Congrats.
  10. Rural Community Loan Repayment Program. Substance Use Disorder. New program, for those of us in rural communities. Our sites have to also offer services for those with substance use disorders.
  11. so this was my third year applying for the nhsc and the only year i even got a credit check. Never really expected to get it because of our hpsa score which puts me in tier 2. I didn't initially apply for the RCLRP because of some of the SUD wording in the app but did find out that I was eligible and should be tier 1 because we are an RCORP Consortium member. I got the app in on the last day and a credit check two days later. Got an email from them last Friday wanting my 30 day student loan payoff amounts and that is the last I heard. I did try to call them a few days ago because I am having so much dang anxiety about the whole process but......... Still under review.......
  12. so has anyone got notification for the nhsc loan repayment or rural community loan repayment?
  13. Did anyone else on here apply for the NHSC Rural Community Loan, the deadline was 7/18?
  14. I don't think you're eligible for the public service loan repayment until you have been in a position for 10 years? I know that the rules are very strict regarding what type of loans you have , etc. and have had friends that worked in public service for the required amount of time and then were not able to access the funds. So do your research.
  15. Your facility has to be an FQHC ,offer SUD treatment and be located in a rural area.
