Hi all,

I've been reading up on the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program and looks like in past years, threads have been started for the yearly application process. I'll be applying as a Staff RN (non-faculty) working at a DSH with an HPSA Score of 16. Not sure of my DTI percentage yet. Hoping to connect with others that will be applying to the program next month and we can all share our updates here. Best of luck to everyone!

Received confirmation email today 9/4/18 with countersignature dated 8/31/18 for loan repayment to begin within 30 days. Was a finalist as of 8/22 for Nurse Corps! 2nd year applying. I am a Doctoral Family and Psych NP D/I approx 200% HPSA 14. My debt was about 180,000. Out of 60,000 annual repayment for first 2 years you get about 41,000 per year because they take out and pay taxes (Thank God). This is the blessing I have waited for. Good Luck to all! Received welcome packet today! I am a Nurse Faculty. Finalist email came on 7/27 and countersign for 8/31. Keep praying and trusting. Nothing is impossible for those who believe. I have been praying for this blessing and I am so thankful.

Likewise, application changed to participant. DTI approx 165%, NP.

So this is my 5th year applying if you count the scholarship and loan repayment , and I never hear anything back so I never expect anything. On Friday I got a finalist notification out of the blue and signed the required document. It still says accepted reward-under final review (its only been one business day). Should I get my hopes up, is there still a chance I won't get it? I'm knocking on every piece of wood I can find.

When did you get your initial finalist email? And anyone else, do most finalist get the award? I am so anxious!

Hello. I also received a finalist email on Friday and anxiously await for signature. I was briefly excited until I realized the wait isn't over yet. I've been stalking this site and previous years as well and I noticed some have waited for anywhere from 13- 33 days for the final signature. I have been hoping and praying for this blessing and we will all know where we stand in 25 days, which is the end of the cycle date September 30. I believe my prayers are being answered and the signature will appear sooner than later. Congratulations to all who have been finalized.

I'm in the same boat as you rpcvVanuatu. I say lets keep hope alive. They have until the 30th the notify us. I did notice individuals from 2017 that received finalist emails August 30th or 31st, 2017 received signatures around September 17th and 18th, 2017.

Hi all! I received my finalist email last week, but when I log in to the website today it says there's an error and I do not have privileges and says "this account can not have a participant role as it is already associated with a nonparticipant record", however when I change the role on the "role" button in the top right corner, it still says award accepted-under final review. I also can not find where a credit check was ever completed. Anyone else experience anything like this?

Also, anyone know or have experience with not receiving the award this far into the process?

I just got my counter signature! I received the finalist email on 8/29!

My contract was just countersigned. I received finalist email August 29th. So thankful!

I guess I was countersigned? There's now a signature from the "OFAM approver." But I haven't gotten the email yet. I called the number, but they weren't able to provide any other information. Why is this wait so stressful!?
