Hi all,

I've been reading up on the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program and looks like in past years, threads have been started for the yearly application process. I'll be applying as a Staff RN (non-faculty) working at a DSH with an HPSA Score of 16. Not sure of my DTI percentage yet. Hoping to connect with others that will be applying to the program next month and we can all share our updates here. Best of luck to everyone!

I was co-signed for the NHSC loan yesterday but still says accepted award- awaiting final review. Has this happen to anyone else? How long did it take a become a participant after co-signing?

Does anyone know if, after all is said and done, if I email HRSA, would they tell me what they found my DTI to be (I also need to look up what my site score is because I don't remember). I'd just like to get some clarification on why my application wasn't eligible, so I know whether to keep trying, or stop looking down this route all together

Question-DTI....

I'm married and trying to figure what my score might be. My taxes are filed jointly. I guess they consider me and my wife's debt and income? Correct? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Any NHSC finalists get co-signed yet? I am a finalist for NHSC and anxiously awaiting a confirmation of award!

I just looked and my contract was countersigned today! I got the finalist e-mail July 27, 2018 and accepted the same day. I am nurse faculty.

I did not get an updated alert but I opened my "signed contract" and it was co-signed today. Did anyone else see this?

I just checked my contract and it was counter signed today as well. No email notice just the signed contract!
