Hello All,
I am applying for the nurse corps loan repayment program 2016 cycle, I just spoke to a representative who told me the application cycle opens up tomorrow. For those of you who have applied any tips advice etc.? I am very excited about this opportunity because I have an outrageous amount of loans.
Aww man...I'm so sad now. I have NOT had any credit checks done (according to Credit Karma) for the last 4 years that I have applied. I don't understand. I am an RN who has a D/I ratio of >120% and a HPSA score of 16. Each year I pray that it will be my year...but nope. I really wish I understood how this process really worked. It would be so much easier not to get my hopes up, lol. Good luck to all of you who have had credit checks run. That is awesome!!

@pbflash2: Check Equifax. I had a credit check from Credco on April 19th. But when other posters started discussing a second credit check, I logged on to Credit Karma, which showed no inquiries, not even the April 19th inquiry that I knew was done. For the record, I'm an MSN prepared Nurse Faculty member at a Tier 2 school with >170% D/I ratio. No second credit check as far as I can tell, but I'm hoping that doesn't mean anything, because I desperately need this!

I used Credit Karma. It shows that there was an inquiry under the home section, but it doesn't say who. It was a third party company. I have only had one on April 19th.
