  1. I did have a credit check on April 9th. Here's what it said: " NCLRP/NCSP/HRSA Inquired on 04/09/2021 5600 FISHERS LN # 8 ROCKVILLE MD, 20852" My application still says "under review" and my service date has not changed. There has been no official email yet, and I will not pop the bubbly until there is. But, I have been countersigned (I've double checked three times now)! Don't be discouraged! You're almost certain to get the continuation. HRSA just likes to drag it's heels, as I'm sure we all know. ?
  2. Well, I broke down and emailed them through the portal to ask last week. Just got this response this morning: “Thank you for your inquiry. You will be notified shortly prior to your August 19, 2021 end date. I hope this information helps.” That didn’t leave me feeling very confident, especially considering that my application still says it hasn’t been updated since April. BUT. I opened the application to check the contract anyway and IT WAS JUST COUNTER SIGNED THIS MORNING! I’m sighing with relief! And thank you to AnaLong for your words of encouragement on my last post. It’s always nice to hear positive words when you’re feeling defeated and suffering from a lack of perspective ?
  3. No change on the portal for me yet and I'm starting to feel discouraged. I'm worried about two things: 1) I used all the money I received to pay off my qualifying loans after taxes. So, if they're expecting that the gross distributions (rather than the net) are applied to our loans, then maybe that's counting against me? 2) I had to enter my federal loans manually which I think dramatically increases the odds that I screwed up my documentation somehow. I did see that continuations were still being awarded into July last year, but I don't know if that's normal or if the timeline was later due to COVID. Regardless, I just keep telling myself to be grateful for the two years of funding I've received so far and that even if I don't get approved for the continuation, I'm light years ahead of where I would have been without the original contract. Good luck to all who are still waiting to hear!
  4. Can we make it a conference call?!?? I'm trying to enter my loans manually, and it is confusing! What I'm struggling with is the documentation. My servicer hasn't published any updated account statements since last March, so I'm going to have to message BHW to ask whether a screenshot will work. And if my documentation shows all the account information, plus disbursement date, payment information, and most recent balance or payoff date, is that good enough? Should I just upload the same document 3 times, or are they looking for something different? I wish they were more helpful in answering questions....
  5. Just wanted to share that I haven't had my January disbursement yet either, and I usually get it on the 16th of the month. I sent an email through the portal this morning asking for clarification at about 08:30. As of 2:30 pm, I checked for a response and now my January disbursement is 'processed.' Hopefully, that means we'll all see the deposits soon!
  6. Thank you! This was my second time attempting, so don't give up if you don't luck out during this cycle. Whether you get funded depends quite a bit on what the application pool looks like!
  7. The financial tab still says 'processed.' I got no notifications, just happened to log into my checking account and see it. Funds have been deposited under the name "HRSA TREAS 310 MISC PAY." Hope this helps!
  8. Just wanted to update award recipients that I saw my first payment from HRSA in my account tonight. It's postdated for 9/16.
  9. And thank you so much for painting all educators as people who cannot do the job. Very helpful advice ?
  10. So far, it hasn’t changed. It still says “accepted award- under final review” on the main page. I had to open my contract to see that it had been signed.
  11. Nurse faculty here. Got my finalist notification on July 24th and IMMEDIATELY logged in to sign my confirmation of interest. Just got co-signed today at 4:23 pm. No email notification of the co-sign, I’m just checking obsessively. Yay! My spouse is starting school next week and this will be a life saver for our family!!
  12. I can't believe it! I just got a finalist email notification at 5:00pm today! I'm nurse faculty with a DTI of 115%. I'm considered Tier 2, since less than 50% of my students come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Fingers crossed for everyone here... don't give up hope!
  13. Nurse faculty here with a DTI of 115%. I've applied once in the past and had a credit check for that application in mid-May, and was obviously not awarded. This year, I decided to apply again. I don't expect that I'm a competitive applicant, but thought it was worth it to try. Was definitely feeling like it wasn't going to happen as my credit hadn't even been checked for this application. But I received word that I had an inquiry on July 10th from Credco. Thinking it has to be NHSC as I haven't applied for anything else this year. I'm hoping that this comparatively late check means that they think the funds will stretch far enough to award some faculty and MAYBE I could be one of them. Fingers crossed, as my husband is starting school soon, and this would help tremendously!!
  14. Ugh. Still waiting. But I'm tier 2 nursing faculty so I'm trying to keep the hope alive. I could really use as I just found out I"m expecting our first child and money is about to get tighter. Everybody please send me some of your good luck!
  15. @Pamitch1957: what tier are you in, if you don't mind my asking?
