NSU EntryBSN Program Fall 2010

Hey I was wondering who has applied to the Nursing Program @ Nova starting fall 2010?

I would like to know of any updates any one has heard on the process, interviews, etc.

I recieved a letter in the mail today that was sent out last week stating that my application would no longer be considered because I was missing documents. I called in and they told me that this was due to the fact that I was taking summer classes that were pending for the requirements. So if any of you recieve this letter and are taking summer classes it's probably because of that too. They told me that the people who are taking summer classes will find out last whether they get in or not but that it shouldn't affect whether we get the Baptist scholarship (which I don't really buy but ok?).

They also told me that if we don't get in that all we have to do is reapply and pay the fee once again for January

Congrats Dfar09!!! How exicting. I turned in my application at the end of Feb. but have yet to hear anything :confused:

We all seem to be playing a waiting game...

To the rest of you who are still waiting - HANG IN THERE!! I know its tough but you have to remain positive. Good things come to those who wait! And if you don't get accepted this year there's always next. I know what you're feeling - I was rejected the first time I applied, but I didn't let it hold me back & now I'm proud to say I'm an NSU Shark :) GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!!

Mari - Hi! Congrats to you!! which campus are you going to? Did you apply to Baptist? Im excited and scared, lol putting together the pile of documents requested. Good luck!

i emailed one of the advisors and he told me that im conditionally accepted into the ft myers campus!!!! i am sooo excited! as long as i maintain my GPA and do well in my summer classes i start aug 24 with the fall class!!!!!

Marcy004 - Hi! Thanks .. I was accepted into the Ft. Lauderdale campus and yes I applied to the Baptist Scholars Program. I actually had my interview last week so now I wait for their letter. Does the waiting ever end?? LOL .. The paperwork can definitely get overwhelming. Just remember to keep copies of everything & whatever you mail out send with some kind of tracking because you know how that goes!!

lol. I wish I had a VIP pg. I had to apply via paper application since this my second time applying so I can't check my status!! that's nerve wrecking! :uhoh3:

You should have a VIP page - everyone has one. I applied by paper application as well. Google "Nova VIP page" & then follow the steps to request your user id and password.
