i did awful on the HESI

I dont want to fail this class becuase of the case studies!!!!

I dont want to fail this class becuase of the case studies!!!!

I took this class last fall. If memory serves, I didn't do well on the first test. I think what I did was to write out notes on the HESI case studies as I reviewed them. The first time I tried to just go by memory,and the questions were a bit tricky. Don't give up hope too soon. I wound up with an A.

Is anyone hating this class yet? Worse class yet..in terms of work load and TA.

Would love to give out the section number to see if you guys having the same problems!!!

I agree that the workload is way more than any other class I have had, however my TA seems okay. No real issues yet!

I agree with you, this class is miserable. The TA is nitpicking everything even though the assignment instructions are unclear and contain typos. I am getting dinged for APA things that have not been a problem in any other class.

Here I am taking a break from homework...glad to see I am not alone, although I wish it wasn't true for either one of us. I am thinking what the heck is the TA going ding me on as I write this stuff. I understand that they want the APA format, but with the workload we have and the WORSE than usual cryptic instructions they are giving us...what the HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the worse class yet...the subject matter is great but the way they are slamming it down our throats makes me despise it. They are using the behavior learning model the opposite way...instead of getting us to like it,,,they are causing us to hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I didn't invest so much money in it, I think I would drop it. Then again, I would still have to get through this at some point.

This class has so much work and preparation to it - it is very difficult. I feel flat out overwhelmed with the amount of work required for this class - week 2 - just the reading required for the discussion, then the HESI tests- that took a good 2 hours to do - but at least it was workable - but the questions on the HEsi may be from a newer or older book edition, includes questions that is not included on the chapters assigned.

I am putting so much time into this class....equivalent to the 1st required class for the amount of reading etc.

Just remember it is only 5 weeks. You can do anything for 5 weeks. Hang in there.
