Who is taking this with me? Let's support each other. I am currently looking to see if I can find the reading assignments before the week the class opens.
lil_owl, I graduated from OU last May. My thoughts are "mixed" concerning the program. I graduated in 14 months but had 15 classes to take. 5 week classes went fast. You have very little contact with the professor. TA's ( teacher assistants) run the discussion board posts. After starting my MSN this past October at another school I felt OU has a lot of tweaking to do. No TA's in my MSN and the professors are very interactive with the students and encourage you to succeed.
I picked OU because tuition was good and I paid out of pocket for most of my BSN.
Thank you Woodsyny. I have been accepted into OU's program and could also do GCU. I have very mixed feelings about both. For OU, I need the core 9 and upper level comp. I may also have to take intro to soc (because I took a higher level soc class and apparently it has to be soc 1). So possibly 11 there. With GCU I have stats, so 11 there. GCU will cost me about 5-6k more and has the dreaded group projects. Sigh. I am have a hard time deciding. I would like to keep my 3.9 gpa and have heard grade horror stories about both
lil_owl, I do not like group projects at all. If you have a slacker in the group then you are screwed. I had to take the 9 core courses plus 6 other classes at OU. Did it in 14 months but almost killed myself doing it. I did not take any of the 6 other classes at OU except the jr. comp class which was 15 weeks and just dragged on and on! I was very frustrated with some of the TA's and lack of interaction with them. Ou VERY heavy on APA. I am in Chamberlain now for my MSN and am pleasantly pleased and wish I had gone there for my BSN.

Good job! I am happy, I receive the grade I wanted- I was just thinking about MSN. I know I am bit ahead of my self but with only two semesters left after this session I have to. Lets keep up the great work.
